The US Supreme Court reversed Roe v. Wade on the morning of June 24, 2022. Roe v. Wade was a landmark ruling that constitutionally enabled abortion access to all Americans since Jan. 22, 1973. The reversal of Roe v. Wade meant that each State now had the power to dictate how abortion would be mandated moving forward.
13 Republican-run States have "trigger-laws" in place (means "operative immediate" once the protected law was removed) and this includes the following:
Arkansas - bans all abortion except in life threatening emergencies
Idaho - bans abortions except in instances of rape, incest and life threatening emergencies
Kentucky - bans all abortions except in life threatening emergencies
Louisiana - bans all abortions except in life threatening emergencies
Mississippi - bans abortions except in cases of rape and life threatening emergencies

Oklahoma - bans all abortion except in life threatening emergencies
